Overview:
Canon has two very similar zoom lenses available in the FD series in those days. The FD 70-210mm f/4 has been around since the introduction of the Canon A-1 while the FD 75-200mm f/4.5 was introduced in 1985, and was aimed at the users of the T-series cameras like the T50 and T70. Both feature one ring push/pull zooming and focusing control and thus enables zooming and focusing to be done in one operation, and the macro function allows focusing distances of only 0.44 meter for the 70-210 and 0.55 meter for the 75-200mm. The magnification at these distances is 0.25X and 0.2X respectively.
